Lisbon
Embark in the event that focuses on Prevention and Safety in the maritime market!
With a long and successful partnership in organizing leading events in the areas of Fire & Security and Health & Safety, CEDROS Lda. and Everlux Maritime (a brand of the Ertecna group) joined forces in 2023 to organize a new collaboration to organize a unique and innovative event in the country: the Onboard Safety Conference.
With the ambitious goal of launching this project with three events over a 12-month period, which took place between November 2023 and November 2024, the Onboard Safety Conference quickly established itself as a benchmark event in this sector, filling a gap in the maritime safety and prevention landscape. To this end, it promoted unique conferences featuring renowned national and international experts, providing important opportunities for intense networking among participants, both in-person and online, speakers, and exhibitors.
With a carefully designed program to delve deeper into critical maritime safety topics and meet the demands of a constantly evolving industry, the Onboard Safety Conference will establish itself as an annual event starting in 2025. This natural evolution reinforces its prominent position in the calendar of initiatives that promote technical and strategic debate on the maritime sector in the Iberian Peninsula and Portuguese-speaking countries, also gaining increasing relevance on the international stage.
The 4th edition of the Onboard Safety Conference will also mark a change of scenery, being held in a new location (to be announced soon), reinforcing the conference’s commitment to its founding mission: to promote a broad debate on the present and future of maritime safety, in its multiple aspects.
The theme of this edition, which will take place on October 16th, will be “The Ocean as Strategy: Shipping Industry, Energy, and Sovereignty”.
