Ana Andrade has a degree in Physics, a Master’s and a PhD in Engineering and Industrial Management.
She is a researcher in the Studies, Research and Renewables Division of the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG) since 2015, she is DGEG’s focal point for ocean renewable energy issues, supporting government activity and national and international working groups.
She is also the national delegate on the SET Plan Implementation Working Group on offshore wind, wave energy and direct electric current (HVDC), having participated in the European OceanSET project and now in the SEETIP Ocean, monitoring the evolution of the wave energy sector in Europe.
