Ángel holds a PhD degree in Maritime Engineering from A Coruña University and he has almost 30 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas and shipbuilding industry, always working with Navantia.

In the last 6 years he has been working in the offshore wind division of Navantia and he is currently the Commercial and Competitive Strategy Manager of Navantia Seanergies, the Navantia´ s Green Energy Division. He is also responsible of the offshore wind business development in Spain and Portugal.

Since 2010, Ángel combines his position at Navantia with his activity as associate professor at the Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering School at the University of A Coruña.

He has also been a member of the Lean Six Sigma Technical Committee of the Spanish Association for Quality AEQ (2017 and 2018).
