CNTMP - National Commission for the Transport of Dangerous Goods

He is vice-president of the National Commission for the Transport of Dangerous Goods (CNTMP) and the president of the Autonomous Centre for Safety in the Transport of Dangerous Goods (NAMP) of the Portuguese Security Association (APSEI).
He is also a director of TUTORIAL, Lda, a company with over 20 years’ experience in producing technical content, consultancy, and training in the field of dangerous goods transport. In 2011 he published the book “ADR 2011 Portuguese version” and since then he has ensured the publication of its biannual updates, the latest of which will be in 2021.
In 2016 he published the first Portuguese edition of the IMDG Code (authorized by the International Maritime Organization) applied to the maritime transport of dangerous goods, and amendments 40-20 in 2021.
He is also a Security Adviser for the Transport of Dangerous Goods, ADR and RID, IATA certified – Category 6 and trained in Security Planning and Protection of Facilities and Terrorism, as well as having been a member of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) Dangerous Goods Specialist Group.
