Eduardo Feio holds a degree in Regional and Urban Planning from the University of Aveiro and has held various public positions, including: – Chairman of the IMT’s Governing Board and, by extension, member of the International Transport Forum’s (ITF/OECD) Governing Board; Member of the European Union Agency for Railways’ (ERA) Board of Directors; Member of the World Road Association’s (AIPCR/PIARC) Council; and Member of the Conference of European Directors of Roads’ (CEDR) Governing Board and Management Committee.

He was responsible for the Mission Structure for Second Generation Citizen Shops and was Director of the Office of Studies and Planning at Facilities, and Director-General of Infrastructure and Equipment at the Ministry of Internal Administration.

He also served as a councillor, later becoming vice-president, of Aveiro City Council.

He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ports of Aveiro and Figueira da Foz.
