Born in Lisbon in 1975. He graduated from the Infante D. Henrique Nautical School in 1998. He discovered his passion and love for the sea at an early age.

In 2016, with 18 years of professional experience at sea, he began the career of his dreams: Bar Pilot at the Lisbon Port Authority.

Since January 2023, he has been in charge of the Pilotage, VTS and Port Operations Department and has always been concerned about the safety of seafarers, especially bar pilots.
