João Ribeiro has a degree in Sports and Physical Education from FADEUP and has always been involved in sailing as a practitioner and coach.

Since 2011, he has been the managing partner of a company in the events sector, and in 2017 he completed the Management and Leadership Programme at AESE Business School.

A year later he joined the commercial team of BBDouro, where one of the objectives was to develop the Vela sem Barreiras project.

Today, he is the Commercial Director of BBDouro Nautical Experiences, one of the brands of the BBDouro Group.
