Nuno Santos holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Naval Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico, as well as a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Nova University of Lisbon.

He has worked as an assistant lecturer and researcher in higher education and has held positions in production, design, planning, quality and sales, as well as sitting on the board of directors of several shipyards in Portugal.

His previous roles include president of the College of Naval Engineering of the Order of Engineers; Standard Offshore Vessels Proposals Manager at Royal IHC in the Netherlands; sales manager for the Brazilian, Mexican and Canadian markets, and shipbuilding specialist responsible for Robotics and Automation.

He is currently the managing director of Lisnave in Portugal.
