Pedro Jardim is Chief of the Maritime Police; Director of the Nautical Training Centre at the Maritime Authority School and Operational Commander of the Forensic Diving and Underwater Police Operations Group.
With a career spanning 28 years in the Maritime Police and 12 foreign assignments – Frontex, UNODC – he has also completed several courses in nautical, boarding, diving and police tactics.
He has a degree in Security Policy, a Masters in Security and Justice, an Internal Security Studies Auditor and a specialisation in Maritime Authority.
