Francisco Caldeira Alexandre attended Naval Engineering course from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST).

Between 1994 and 1995, he worked for a year as a naval systems engineer at SEST.

Also in 1995, he began working as Technical Director at the CONAFI shipyard. In the following years, he worked as Production Director and Quality Manager for the same company.

Between 1999 and 2001 he was General Manager of the CONAFI shipyard, leaving in November 2001 to set up his own company, Navproject.

He has also been involved in consultancy, naval design and the production of Levant boats, a brand he created and launched in 2003.

He has been involved in numerous projects and the construction of composite boats in areas such as professional fishing boats, military boats, pilot boats, passenger boats, leisure boats, nautical tourism, diving, etc.
