Lecturer at the Polytechnic School of Engineering of Porto (ISEP) and researcher at CIETI. Holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with research focused on onshore and offshore renewable energy, power generation systems and electrical grids, and electricity markets, contributing to the advancement of the energy transition.

Currently coordinates the European SHOREWINNER project, focused on developing the skills of professionals in the offshore wind energy sector and strengthening strategic competences for a sustainable blue economy.
